What is a NON-DOT Breath Alcohol Test?
A NON-DOT BAT (Breath Alcohol Test) is used by employers who are not regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) but still wish to maintain a safe, productive, and alcohol-free work environment.
This test determines an individual’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) using a calibrated breathalyzer device. Testing is performed by a certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and provides immediate, legally defensible results.
When to Use NON-DOT Alcohol Testing
NON-DOT breath alcohol testing can be conducted for a variety of workplace needs, including:
